With a Bachelor’s Degree in both Business Administration/Marketing and Physical Education/Sports Management, Irene has worked in an entrepreneurial capacity since graduating from Towson University in 1984. She had worked as an executive assistant in a health management firm in Baltimore and began her family soon after.
As a mother of 5 children, her passion for physical education evolved by working with preschool aged children. She created and marketed a freelance preschool physical education curriculum which she implemented and taught throughout the Fredericksburg area for over 10 years. Her ability to create a market where one did not previously exist was a challenge that provided her with amazing opportunities to network and expand her advertising and management skills. Time management, multitasking and acute attention to detail were some of the qualities she took exceptional pride in.
In the fall of 1994, Irene hired a real estate “professional” to assist her family in the sale of their home. It was during this time, that she realized the incredibly poor service that she was receiving was actually the norm in the industry. Unreturned phone calls, unprofessional advertising efforts, and a lack of accountability made her passionate about her decision to enter the real estate market as a Realtor® who could make the process of buying and selling a home effortless and FUN! Irene’s immediate goal was to give her clients the kind of service she came to demand for herself.
