We have successfully been operating in Khao Lak on Thailand's West Coast since 1996. The iQ-DIVE is managed by Swiss scuba diving instructor Ernst Schlaepfer and his Thai wife Meaw.
In the early years, Khao Lak was just an insider tip amongst backpackers. Eventually Khao Lak gained international recognition among scuba divers due to its geographically perfect location, right opposite to the Similan Islands, one of the world's top ten diving and snorkeling destinations.
The cooperation between iQ-DIVE and the Sub Aqua Dive center Khao Lak, a result of the "Indian Ocean Tsunami" of December 2004, was so successful, that we decided to continue the cooperation for the future to come.
Khao Lak is is the ideal place to relax for families with children. The Khao Lak Lamru national park area features pristine beaches, dense tropical rain forest, waterfalls and endless opportunities for outdoor activities like jeep safaris, canoing, elephant trekking, hiking to the nearby waterfalls and more.
