Description
In the spring of 1979, a small group of Nova Scotians concluded that owners of residential rental properties in the province had remained silent for too long while decisions affecting their livelihoods were being made. They concluded that a large body of expertise in the field of rental housing was simply not being consulted and not being heard. The INVESTMENT PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION of NOVA SCOTIA developed from this consensus. It is an organization dedicated to representing the interests of private residential property owners in the province and providing members with services of substantial benefit.
