Pablo C. Chang-Castillo, M.A.C.I., M.A.B.L.I., M.A.T. is originally from Nicaragua, Central America. Pablo holds a Master of Arts in Conference Interpretation (English-Spanish-French) from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, a Master of Arts in Bilingual Legal Interpreting from the University of Charleston (English-Spanish); and a Master of Arts in Translation (English-Spanish-French). Pablo also holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and in German Literature from Gonzaga University. Pablo is a federally certified court interpreter (FCCI) and a state certified court interpreter in the states of Washington and California. Pablo works as a freelance conference interpreter, translator, and certified court interpreter throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Pablo’s clients include the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, CONAHEC, Oracle, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Amazon.com, the World Pastry Forum and other national and international agencies. Pablo has also studied at the Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction (ISIT) in Paris, France where he specialized in Conference Interpretation and Translation. He has also taught Advanced Court Interpretation at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and has taught at the Translation and Interpretation Institute in Bellevue, WA. He is currently a faculty member of San Francisco State University’s Legal/Court Interpretation Program where he teaches Advanced Court Interpretation.
