The InterRelations Collaborative, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization established in 1991 to build intergroup relations in rapidly diversifying communities in New York City.
The IRC carried out nationwide research in US gateway cities (New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco) to identify critical factors associated with intergroup conflict and to document models of intergroup cooperation.
IRC's research findings were cited by the New York State Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights in its report, Resolving Intergroup Conflicts in New York City.
