Integrated Maintenance Services Ltd was establised in November 1998 to provide rotating equipment maintenance services to the oil and gas market in the North Sea, primarily concentrating on the gas turbines produced by Ruston Gas Turbines (now under Alstom Power UK - itself a subsidiary company of Siemens since April 2003) based in Lincoln, England. IMS initially offered Technical Support, advising customers on specific issues on their machines to improve availability & reliability.
