Inspection Software was established in June 1992 to develop software for inspection engineering projects. We are based in Swansea, South Wales, about 200 miles west of London, UK.
We've been developing software for in-house projects since the mid 1970's, but in 1992 ISL was established as an independent software company. Our core development language is Visual Basic 6, supported with Access database components. Our applications run on Windows platforms.
Our industrial inspection experience spans more than 4 decades in most NDT / NDE technologies including ultrasonics, eddy currents, computerised systems, electronics, electro-mechanics, data-acquisition, and software development. We also have first-hand knowledge of most industrial sectors including oil, gas, power, nuclear, offshore, topside and underwater. In 1992 we established Inspection Software to combine these experiences to form a unique source of software development for the specialised needs of the inspection industry.
