INSERTA® ICD D03 Check Valve Modules INSERTA® ICD D03 Check Valve Modules are a compact means to provide check and fixed orifice flow control in a D03 stack assembly. Each module may be ordered with either one or two INSERTA® ICS Check Valves, Slip-in type. The INSERTA® ICS Check Valves, Slip-in type, can be installed with the free flow in either direction. Steel construction allows operating pressures up to 5000 psi. In-line flow paths through the valve inserts minimize any additional pressure drops and wasted horsepower.

Lockstack™ D03 Retaining System The Lockstack™ D03 retaining system includes stacking fasteners that eliminate the need to size and cut thread stock for D03 sandwich stack assemblies. The system also includes a novel isolation retainer that engages the fastener heads to resist loosening during disassembly of the directional control valve or other stack component(s) above. Use the Lockstack™ system to reduce labor costs and sandwich assembly headaches, while adding value and integrity to your sandwich assembly.

Bar Manifolds with Unified Code 61 Flange Patterns These ductile iron D03 manifolds are provided with Code U61 3/8” work ports and Code U61 ½” P and T ports to facilitate stacking of valve function(s) directly at the manifold inlets and outlets. The narrow geometry of the Unified flange pattern results in a lower manifold height. The Unified Flange pattern may also be advantageously placed directly on an actuator.

ACO Adapter with Integral Check Valve The ADACONN® ACO Unified Series flange adapter is provided with an integral check valve. This combination allows one to easily provide check and fixed orifice flow control at a flange port, and terminate into a male thread. Check function may be placed on a manifold or actuator rather than within, resulting in a decrease in manifold size, or elimination of a special cartridge body. Such an approach lessens the need for machining cartridge cavities (with their associated special tooling) and cross drilling. In-line flow reduces pressure drop and wasted horsepower. Steel construction allows for use in systems up to 5000 psi. Valve orientation is reversible as required by the application. A variety of male threaded connections are available.

Port Connectors

ADACONN® PORT CONNECTORS, permits the ability to mechanically connect ADAFLANGE™ and/or ADAFLANGEPORT™ Adapters with 37º Flare Fitting Male Ends together in a manner that enhances the pressure capability of the 37º flare fitting connection.

Bolt Kits

ADACONN® ABK and INSERTA® IBK BOLT KITS are used for joining ADACONN® + INSERTA® products. The length of Socket Head Cap Screws given in the catalog are the minimum length required to fasten to a Unified Code U61, Code 61 or 62 port pattern and provides a minimum of 1 1/2 times the nominal bolt diameter for thread engagement. Longer lengths need to be considered when other conditions exist such as fastening to lower strength materials. When one wants to use other INSERTA® modules between components longer bolts will also be required to accommodate the stack height of the additonal modules.

Retaining Adapters

These adapters provide the means to retain other INSERTA® products in a compact assembly with socket head threaded fasteners. These retainers also provide the means for one to rotate the S.A.E 4 bolt-port pattern and flow path plane 90º. These rotational retainers offer one the opportunity to convert from a Code 62 to a Code 61 flange port as well as being able to reduce the port size.

Specialty Plates

Our specialty flange plates provide great flexibility in the assembly of INSERTA® modular valves and connectors. Specialty Flange Plates for use with INSERTA® S.A.E. 4-Bolt Flange modular valves and connectors include Seal Plates with seal and optional integrity support ring, Gender Changer plates, Blanking Plates and Blanking Plates with orifice.

Connectors

Rotational connectors offer one the means to integrate INSERTA® S.A.E 4 bolt-port pattern modules into stand-alone system assemblies. This is accomplished by installing the modules between an INSERTA® 90º Flange Rotational Connector and a 90º Flange Rotational Adapter.
