Innova Biosciences develops innovative products and services for drug discovery and basic research. Products include recombinant human enzymes, assay reagents, chromatography resins for proteomics applications, and rapid conjugation kits (Lightning-Link™). Innova has a wealth of expertise in protein purification, antibody production, protein labeling technologies and immunoassay development. We also have considerable experience in early stage drug discovery, including fluorescence assay technologies, development of HTS assays and production of recombinant targets. Innova's research laboratories opened in October 2002 at the Babraham Bioincubator facility, close to the historic University City of Cambridge, UK. In January 2003 Innova received a £45,000 DTI Smart award which allowed the company to develop a number of proprietary assay and proteomics products. In 2005 the company launched SpeedLead P ™ , a service which allows parallel testing of drugs against multiple enzymes in order to determine drug selectivity. In January 2006, the company launches its revolutionary Lightning-Link ™ conjugation system, which massively simplifies and accelerates the production of protein conjugates (last updated Jan 2006).
