About Us - Chuck Fonte

In 1996, I'd returned to Myrtle Beach South Carolina from employment in Decatur Illinois from which everyone had abruptly been laid off. There was not much out there in the line of work, so the decision was made to return to college while dabbling with my PC & wanting to learn more.

In 1998 I graduated from Horry-Georgetown Technical College (H.G.T.C.) with an Associates Degree in Computer Technology. The entire C.P.T. Faculty department was simply wonderful & cared a great deal about their work & students. They were very helpful whenever possible! Anna Gaskin especially, always giving her students a good 'kick in the butt' to help realize their potential!

During the last semester, a final assignment was given in our website design class to create a webpage. For an idea I decided that instead of a simple page, what better subject to choose than finding help in acquiring a job since I'd be graduating soon anyway! So that's how LinkToJobs was born!
