Vinod Kothari, widely acclaimed as the "guru" of Indian leasing, has gained international acceptability as author, educator and consultant on leasing and asset-backed financing. As a trainer, Vinod Kothari regularly lectures in several countries on leasing, hire-purchase and asset financing products, besides securitisation, credit derivatives and derivative accounting. Over past 11 years, he has trained more than 3000 executives at all levels in course of about 200 training sessions both in-house and open-house. He was also a contributor at the Asian Leasing Convention held in 1997 in Mumbai and the coordinator for the Asian Leasing Convention 1998 in Dhaka. In Dhaka, Vinod was responsible for complete design of the course, selection of speakers and editing of the souvenir.
