Description
It is the mission of ICARE (Inyo County Animal Resources & Education) to advocate the humane treatment of all companion animals in Inyo County, end pet overpopulation in Inyo county and promote the adoption of homeless pets from the Inyo County Animal Shelter into responsible, life-long homes.
ICARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of companion animals. Our main area of activity is Inyo County in central California, east of the Sierra Nevada. We are committed to raising public awareness of the pet overpopulation crisis, and other animal welfare issues, through public education.
We encourage everyone to adopt their pets from local animal shelters. We also provide financial assistance, through donations, for companion animal spay/neuter surgeries.
