Description
We have lived more than 20 years in Cologne and during this time we developped a strong affection for this town. On one side this was due to the cultural abundance and diversity on the other side to the free mind of many of its inhabitants. We enjoyed to meet people in our free time, to go dancing in the night clubs or to experience the food of foreign countries.
Roland studied physics in Cologne while me studied languages and geography. After the studies we both were employed in IT companies during many years. The last years before our world travel we worked together as freelancers in a small office for internet services.
Beside travelling and cycling Roland exercised aikido a long time. Since his childhood he has loved meticulous work with electronics. At my free time I learnt Indian temple dance and practiced artistic painting. Passionately we enjoyed the nighty life in Colgne. We met one another at a salsa dance course in town. Shortly afterwards Roland infected me by the virus of bicycle travel.
