Imaginary Box Internet Solutions grew out of Imaginary Box Web Design and has a history of providing state of the art web sites and web applications in a variety of industries. Under the direction of founder and Creative Director, David Taylor, Imaginary Box had produced sites of all different types and all different sizes, all custom built to fill a particular need.
But in addition to being cutting edge, both technically and creatively, Imaginary Box also firmly believes in web standards. Web standards and web accessibility are growing concerns in the web design industry and yet are not widely implemented for a variety of reasons. Imaginary Box designs sites using the standards set forth by the W3C for both coding standards and accessibility.
Consistency
Web standards exist to ensure a consistent user experience across the widest range of platforms, yet their use is inconsistent at best through out the industry. However, that is changing, modern browsers are becoming more strict in their interpretation of code and display capabilities between different browsing platforms is growing even more divergent. Web standards ensure that well designed, well structured code can deliver the same, consistent content between devices as divergent as a high end desktop computer with a nineteen inch screen and a web enabled phone with a two inch screen.
