- Hello, we are Bernadette and Frank Strange. We are originally from New England, where we worked many years in banking and finance. Not being fans of air travel, our vacations were spent driving to various destinations, mainly touring the east coast. We would stop and explore various cities and towns,always with camera in hand. On one such trip, we visited Charleston, SC and immediately knew where we belonged. And so, in 2002, when we finally had enough of the cold winter climate, we relocated to Mount Pleasant, just across the bridge from Charleston. We are longtime railfans and it was this interest in trains that added to the excitement of many photo trips during the past two decades or so.
