"Illumisware" educational music for children
"Illumisware" is the result of a studio collaboration between elementary school teacher/songwriter Joe Crone and veteran music/video producer Alex Schmoll of Brick House Productions. Illumisware was created to bring together contemporary music that appeals to today's children with relevant content and concepts for today's elementary school curriculum.
Joe Crone has been teaching since 1989. He has taught music and drama to students from kindergarten through to grade 8, and has been a classroom teacher for children from the 4th to 8th grades. He also offers school visits, where he works with student groups in-class and presents a concert with the students.
Joe has specialist training in dramatic arts and is an accomplished songwriter and recording artist in his own right. His enthusiasm for children and for teaching is reflected in his innovative integration of the arts into all subject areas. He believes that learning should be an adventure and should reflect the various learning styles of his many students. And yes, he loves to sing.
