Illini Fire Equipment was established in 1957 by Walter Carlson. Always a family owned and operated business, it is now operated by Harold and Janet Scharlau. In 1967 we moved from 1105A W. Main to 2801 N. Lincoln Avenue - Urbana, IL. We carry a large inventory of fire and safety equipment for our industrial customers and fire departments. We have mobile service vehicles to service hand portable fire extinguishers in the field.
