Description
IFST qualifications are universally recognised as a sign of proficiency and integrity and all our professional members must meet certain academic standards and experience and are bound by an ethical code of professional conduct.
We have several grades of membership: Fellow (FIFST) and Member (MIFST), Executive Associate (IFST Exec), Affiliate, Licentiate and Student. Our professional members (Fellows and Members) can also apply for Chartered Scientist status, the hallmark of excellence for all science disciplines, awarded under licence from the Science Council.
Furthering the application of science and technology to all aspects of the supply of safe, wholesome, nutritious, tasty and attractive food;
