IFM Quality Services Pty Ltd is a dynamic company dedicated to all aspects of laboratory quality assurance. Our services are requested by a diverse range of organizations, including accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities, government agencies and private companies. As a fully independent, privately owned company, we guarantee services that are objective, impartial and completely confidential.
Our mission is to assist laboratories in improving and maintaining the quality of their analyses through the provision of laboratory quality assurance products and services. Our primary vehicles for achieving this aim are the provision of proficiency testing programs, reference materials and consulting services.
Our dedication to quality is evident in the fact that we are the first company in Australia, and one of the first in the world to attain accreditation to ILAC Guide 13:2000 (based on ISO Guide 43-1 for proficiency testing scheme providers). (Proficiency testing, inter-laboratory tests, ILC, EQA, external Quality assessments, quality assurance programs, round robins, QC programs, QAP, PT, PTP, interlab are all names for similar activities.) Our approval was granted in April 2000 by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), number 14242. The scope of our accreditation extends to food, water, pharmaceuticals, electrical products and veterinary tests.
