About IDitaRodHouse.com
A thirty-four year Alaska resident, Donna Gentry Massay was raised in New Hampshire. While a youngster, she trained the family pets - a poodle, a beagle, and a cocker spaniel - as sled dogs and began racing at age 12. Pursuing her dreams, Donna moved to Alaska and raced for many years, first in sprint races, and later the Iditarod. Donna competed in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in 1980 and 1981, finishing 10 and 18th.
