Digital Alliance Foundation: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Education for All (EFA)

Description

Excerpted from the website:

Martha Branigan-Sutton is an African-American woman with a passion for humanitarian service. She holds a Juris Doctorate in Law with a focus in international trade arbitration. Martha envisions using this background to advocate for marginalized populations and influencing policy for the underprivileged - especially human rights violations. Meanwhile her hands-on humanitarian experience in Bolivia and Mexico have created a motivation to address the most basic of needs. She sees the Digital Alliance as a vehicle to make in-country aide organizations more productive and effective as they spend less time and resources in the office and more time in the field. This cross-cutting vision drives Martha to assist those who are already dedicated to serving more successful within their subject matter expertise. In this way she can realize her dream of helping with the most basic of human needs through education and the application of technology. In addition to her Law Degree Martha holds a BA in international relations from Brigham Young University and speak Spanish fluently and is conversational in French.
