Icosagame.com is the official website for ICOSAGAME, the long-awaited and much anticipated re-release of the game formerly known as the Ico Crystal Game, or Ico.
The name was changed to avoid any conflict with Sony Corporation, who decided to release a fantasy game called Ico and was able to trademark the name since, at the time, it was no longer in commercial use.
The Ico Crystal Game was originally published in 1980 and sold over 100,000 units retail and also to schools. It is considered a board game although the board is a three dimensional shape, the icosahedron, hence the name.
There are different levels of play to include five and six year olds and up to a difficulty chess masters have appreciated. It is marketed as a game for the whole family. This game has won many awards and is generally considered a classic.
