IC Microanalysis LLC was formed to provide unbiased, client-focused, and cost-effective semiconductor technical and analytical consulting services to patent and technology professionals around the world.
Mr. David York, founder and consultant, began his semiconductor analysis career in 1979 with Integrated Circuit Engineering Corporation (also known as ICE Corporation), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based independent quality, failure, competitive, and intellectual property analysis laboratory and market research firm. He has comprehensive hands-on sample preparation experience, equipment operation skills, and technical knowledge developed by performing high quality physical analysis and circuit extraction on a variety of different semiconductor products over the past 26 years. This has provided him with unique knowledge of semiconductor processing and device structures based upon first hand examination of actual products. Mr. York has not only seen the idealized technical section drawings of processes in text books, but has personally produced, analyzed, and interpreted cross sections on final fabricated products as far back as 1979.
All work is personally perfomed by Mr. York. And to provide comprehensive consulting services, a network of independent, outside experts are available for specialized services and technical knowledge.
