Digital Rendezvous: Overview
Description
One of the driving forces in the year 2003 is the preparation for WSIS -- the World Summit on the Information Society, and the various activities and events leading up to the summit. The summit will take place in Geneva in 2003 and in Tunis in 2005.
When writing, consider that we expect this site to stay online indefinitely. Other people have called this the "Wiki Now" [ 1 ] -- sometimes information includes a date, because we are talking about a certain moment in time, but more often we talk about general principles which are true no matter when. In addition to that, texts on a wiki can be changed at any time, so outdated information will get replaced with current information by other visitors.
This site licenses all texts under the Share Alike License (see footer), so you can take all texts from these pages and use them for other purposes, as long as you redistribute your work under the Share Alike License, too. Keeping information free for everybody to use is important to us.
