The Committee on Political Education (COPE) is a voluntary political action fund that supports IAEP's political agenda. From financing pro-union candidates to supporting grassroots lobbying efforts, your COPE dollars promote legislation that protects your workplace rights.
IAEP has a powerful voice in Washington, D.C. Our dedicated legislative team works full-time to safeguard the jobs and bargaining rights of our law enforcement professionals. IAEP has been able to shape legislative policy, which directly benefit our members, because of our effective lobbying efforts in our nation's capital.
