ITHS was founded in 1988 and from small beginnings it now has an international membership of about 200. Our main interests are Titanic and Lusitania but also general maritime history. Particular Irish interests include: Belfast: Harland and Wolff, where Titanic was built. Cobh (formerly Queenstown): Titanic's last port of call and final resting place of Lusitania's victims. The ITHS is a non-profit making society and run entirely by volunteers.
