Welcome to the Islip School District’s website. Located on the south shore of Long Island approximately 50 miles east of New York City, the District is comprised of the hamlet of Islip and portions of the towns of Bay Shore and Central Islip. Our five school buildings (one high school, grades 9-12; one middle school, grades 6-8; and three elementary schools, one with grades K-1, two with grades 2-5) house approximately 3,400 students.
