About IPI
The International Potash Institute, IPI, is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation founded in 1952. Its purpose is to foster the application of scientific and practical methods for the general improvement of the soil through the use of fertilizers, especially potash.IPI, by promoting balanced fertilization, contributes to the maintenance of soil fertility because crop production is based on economically feasible and ecologically sound principles.
IPI is supported by the European and Near East Potash Industry, namely Arab Potash Company, APC in Jordan, Belaruskali in Belarus, Dead Sea Works Ltd., DSW in Israel, International Potash Company, IPC in Russia, K+S KALI GmbH in Germany, Tessenderlo Chemie in Belgium, Silvinit OA and Uralkali OA in Russia.
The farmer: with higher and better quality he generates income. Lower risk of crop failure under adverse climatic/soil conditions, and less damage through pests and diseases, improve farming profitability.
