- The vision of our ministry was conceived as a small group of people attending a weekly home Bible study discussed the growing homeless population in the community. Our founders were deeply moved by their deplorable living conditions and heeded the call of Christ to minister to their most critical needs. The idea was to attract their attention with a free, hot meal, and then to present the Gospel, offering hope for a better future through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We were incorporated in 1995, and since then we have grown into a full-fledged assistance center for the homeless and near-homeless, serving all of Indian River County, Florida.
