On August 1, 1998, Huron Valley Software Consulting held its first annual "picnic" at a local restaurant (indoors, without ants, and with someone else preparing the food). The two founders, Karen Lahey (left-center) and Paul Berneis (right-center), are shown with their spouses. In addition to her talents as a software developer, Karen spends her time sewing, reading and playing bridge. When he is not developing software, Paul enjoys woodworking, home remodeling, and photography.
