Ft Myers Beach is 7 miles in length and beach walkers are able to stroll from tip to tip in soft white sand. We are known as the "world’s safest beach" because of our shallow waters.
We host many events throughout the year from the Shrimp Festival in March to the Offshore Powerboat races in May. Our 4th of July festivities and fireworks are funded by local businesses and fun for everyone! Artisans from all around bring sand to "life" at our annual Sand Sculpting Contest in November sponsored by the Ft. Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce.
