Huron University College began over 140 years ago and is the founding college of The University of Western Ontario. Originally established as Huron College, Huron changed its name to 'Huron University College' with Royal Assent in June 2000.
Huron is known for its personal attention, friendly community and dedication to the pursuit of academic excellence. Our community is warm and embracing and promotes an active and satisfying social life. Because our class sizes are small, our students enjoy the opportunity for lots of interaction with faculty members and fellow students. Yet Huron students also have access to all that The University of Western Ontario has to offer.
