Within a 25km radius can also be found 4 other golf courses Villamartin, Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas and La Finca in Algorfa. There is a municipal tennis court and a bowling green where visitors are made welcome. Ciudad Quesada boasts an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and amenities including banks, chemists, dentists, a medical centre, town hall, and supermarkets. All tastes are catered for with the restaurants from the classy Hungarian restaurant with its classical musicians to the irish bar showing Sky TV.
Nearby (5 mins drive) is the traditional Spanish town of Rojales. This lovely village with its warm welcoming people is best explored by foot wandering the many back streets and discovering the old cave houses and shell house. There are many local bars and some good Spanish restaurants. Rojales enjoys many festivals including the wonderful 'Moors and Christians' festival held in June with its wonderful costumes and bands. A sight not to be missed.
