ATLANTA -- The Hula Bowl All-Star Classic has named Joe Dan Rogers, a former collegiate athlete, coach and NFL scout, as its new executive director. Rogers assumes leadership of the long running and storied game in its second year back on Oahu.
Rogers will focus on executing the owner’s commitment to elevate the participation and attendance at The Hula Bowl to the highest level of postseason collegiate all-star activity. "We are pleased to have been able to secure Joe Dan for this vital role. His experience, character, and business acumen solidify the plan that this bowl needs to elevate its position among the other Bowl games.” said Nick Logan, the Hula Bowl's Owner and CEO.
The 2007 Hula Bowl takes place on January 28 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. This historic venue is the premier showcase of football talent across the spectrum of both college football and the NFL, because it also plays host to the NFL Pro Bowl.
