HR WorkShops, recruitment solutions for healthcare organizations

Description

28 June 2003 – Boston MA – HR WorkShops is pleased to announce the licensing of it's "Tadpole" software module, conceptualized by Henry Roman, the Founder of HR WorkShops and coded over the years by a crack team of programmers.

"Quite frankly, I'm still a bit stunned by how useful my little program is for the application it's going to be ported to", gushed Henry at the conclusion of the contract signing between HR WorkShops and an unspecified Washington, DC based company focused on homeland defense. "I developed this program to find Nurses who were most likely to respond to a direct mail piece and a phone call using seemingly unrelated data points from databases I had access to, I never thought how it could be used to find bad guys!"

Although a confidentiality agreement limits what HR WorkShops can reveal about the extent of the licensing agreement and the capabilities of the software, the Tadpole module was designed to emulate how humans find common elements amongst disparate datasets. "All I can say is that I discovered that similar groups tend to cluster, but not in ways that are obvious. For example, New York has a high percentage of ethnic groups who live together, but my program sifts through and discards the similarities, finding the differences between these people who have the same backgrounds, education, and sometimes even come from the same villages. It's almost like finding needles in haystacks."
