Description
Housing Minnesota is a multi-year public education, organizing and public policy advocacy campaign bringing together diverse constituencies to promote and achieve Homes for All by 2012. The primary purpose of the HousingMinnesota campaign is to dramatically increase the preservation and production of affordable housing in Minnesota by raising public awareness, educating policy makers on housing issues, and translating the needs of people affected into community action.
HousingMinnesota has created and sponsored advertisements and messaging materials to help Minnesotans understand the need for affordable housing for our communities. Samples of these materials (pictured right) are available on this web site, under Resources and Information - Communication Resources.
HousingMinnesota works with organizations and individuals from across the state to promote housing programs and policies. Our annual Lobby and Rally Day at the State Capitol (pictured left, below), timely Action Alerts, legislative summaries and other research help supporters across the state as we work to achieve Homes for All!
