Hotsy pressure washers were first manufactured in 1970, and it wasn’t long before they made their debut in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In 1972 Dan Layden started selling Hotsy, and in 1980 Bill purchased distribution rights for Wisconsin, operating under the banner of CSI. In 1985 Bill changed the company name to Hotsy Cleaning Systems, Inc.
