HotButton Solutions Inc. is a privately held Alberta corporation created on October 31, 2000 by Jane Glendon. HotButton is an innovative, market leading Mobile Computing Software Company specializing in creating solutions to connect current applications to mobile devices.
ArrowSync has been developed as a second-generation middleware toolset. The purpose of ArrowSync is to extend existing software applications to field data collection, through the use of handhelds. It has the capability of added functionality with the use of barcodes, memory buttons, RFID tags and GPS tracking. HotButton Solutions' system allows for multiple applications to run on a single user interface, which simplifies data capture for the field worker and extends a lot of information into the hands of a field worker.
HotButton Solutions strategically targets application software companies that have proven application software. These target application companies have a large installed client base that is in need of a field data collection solution. Application companies are finding that there is a need to satisfy customer demand for collecting field data electronically. HotButton licenses ArrowSync to application software customers to resell (sub-license) and deliver to end-users. Application software companies partner with HotButton to integrate ArrowSync into their existing applications. Then the integrated solutions can be marketed to their installed and potential customer base.
