Today´s crutches/walking sticks have a major problem. When putting them away to lean towards a wall, table or a counter etc. they usually fall over. This results in difficulties for the user to bend down and pick up. There are different accessories on the market to fit on to crutches to prevent the problem but most of them are more or less ineffective.
