- H orse Resource Directory had it's beginnings in December of 2005 when the Founder, President and CEO, Christie was searching for a trainer for her Western Pleasure mare. She wanted someone who was qualified, reasonable and who could get results with her coming two year old filly. Christie searched the internet, magazines, spoke with friends, called trainers, compared prices and ended up more undecided that when she began her journey. Only after a couple of months of what seemed to be wasted time she finally found the trainer she was hoping for, but she still didn't know what he charged per month because he wanted to interview her and her filly before accepting the filly into his program. Luckily they were accepted and the journey to the directory began.
