Originally part of a large family estate - first licensed in 1807 - the pub was fully restored in 1999, exposing blackened beams, an inglenook and original well, over which now sits a glass panelled dining table.
This traditional pub serves quality home cooked food including Sunday roasts, award winning fish dishes and nursery puddings. It is already AA, "Which?" magazine listed and recognised by the Sea Food Industry for the dishes prepared on the premises.
Gardens to the side and rear have excellent views over the Wyre Forest and Lem Valley. Children are welcome, and the Function Room is available for a variety of functions. We accept all major credit cards.
