This year (2005) marks our 20th year of corporate participation in the communications industry and as a central Indiana business entity. H.O.P. Communications, originally known as the "House of Phones", opened in September of 1983 offering small business phone systems and home telephones. Carl Gierke began the business after 16 years with General Telephone Electric (GTE). Tim Gierke assumed the managerial duties in 1989, and took ownership in 1996.
As an independent communications company, we provide a complete line of communications services from Business Communication Systems, Cellular, Paging, Satellite, Fax, Radio, Web Development, Home Phones, and Internet Service. We provide a professional solution without the need for subcontracting which provides the customer with one point of contact. Our customers prefer us because we are a local entity with a strong emphasis on service and dependability. We offer 24 hour emergency repair services, with a minimum 2 hour response for all major outages and a 24 hour response for all minor outages. We provide the expertise, abilities and manpower of a large corporation yet the service orientation of a small business.
