About Us
When we first started homeschooling in 1998, we didn't know other families who had made the same decision we had - to educate their children at home. One of the first places we headed to for support was the Internet. Along with prayer, the help and encouragement we found on-line gave us the confidence we needed to move forward. Since then we have learned so much along the way! Our mission is to provide support to other families who have decided t homeschool by sharing our experiences. Hopefully, in a spirit of love and humor, this site will help others find answers and encouragement as they seek to educate their children at home.
What will I find here? We recommend many resources to get you started in your investigation of the world of homeschooling. The many resources at this site have been recommended because they are materials and resources we are familiar with and feel do a great job explaining an issue. Our goal is to suggest a few resources that will serve as a primer, encouraging further investigation into a topic. While each site we link to or recommend is carefully selected, we are not responsible for content on any site outside our own. If you feel one of the sites we link to contains questionable content, please notify us.
Where can I purchase the resources you recommend? Our goal is to provide an instant online source for the resources we recommend. If possible, we link directly to the publisher’s site. If the publisher does not sell directly, we link to a retailer who does carry the resource online. We also link to other homeschool family businesses when possible. We have no relationship with the vendors we link to – just appreciate their service!
