As my dad used to say you pay your money and you make your choice! The choice for many of us when buying a house is do we want a new one on some development miles from anywhere that is barely big enough to swing a cat in or do we get somewhere bigger but not new. I think calling our house “not new” is being too kind. I knew there would be some work involved but no one ever could have warned me how much.
