A few years ago TK and I were in Germany staying with our best friends Jane and Eddie. Discussing life, as you do, over dinner one evening we thought wouldn't it be great to live in a warmer climate, taking life easy and organising bike tours around the South of France and the Pyrenees - Holidaysforbikers.com was born. Sadly our business commitments here in the UK and theirs in Germany has meant some of our ambitions have been put on hold. Not to give up on a good idea though, TK & I have set up the UK operation more as a hobby than anything else. Concentrating on taking small and friendly groups of bikers to some of Dorset's most beautiful countryside.
All our tours commence from the Horton Inn which is situated within a few miles of our other accommodation, Thatch Cottage and Meadow View Caravan Park. It is also ideal as it enables us to commence our tours without having to negotiate any busy road networks, and ride off into the countryside stress free.
We currently organize tours for a mixture of singles and couples; and would prefer not to accept more than eight riders. The emphasis is small and friendly, relax and enjoy.
