We are software engineers with a practical idea. We decided to start HolidayHouses.co.nz after having a difficult time trying to find a holiday home, having to scan the newspapers, call so many different places and the delay on receiving photos was frustrating. We also were frustrated when trying to search on the Internet - many questions where still unanswered:- is it available now, how many & what kinds beds, is it child proofed and what does it look like, is it walking distance to town? We thought wouldn't it be great to have one website to go on the Internet to browse at our leisure and get a real feel for the place.
