HIM was created to expand the outreach of Pastor Sidoine Lucien of the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Pignon, Haiti. During the summers of 1980 to 1990 Pastor Sidoine's son Caleb began to help with the increasing responsibilities of the ministry. After graduating from Washington Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary, Caleb returned to Haiti to join HIM in the quest of reaching lost souls for Christ.
After growing up in Haiti and seeing first hand the struggles of the Haitian people, Caleb Lucien knew that help could only come through multi-faceted (physical, socio-economic, spiritual) outreach. This is being accomplished through a number of ongoing training/discipleship outreaches.
Short Term Teams. Improve local infrastructure by expanding camp and school facilities, providing housing to destitute families, and working to provide community with electricity.
