- History in Images, based in Falls Church, Virginia just outside Washington DC, was formed for the purpose of bringing history alive in homes. To that purpose, HII sells items of a historical nature including rare, antique prints, maps, historical documents and handcrafted wooden model ships as well as other items. HII also provides preservation framing services through a partner firm, based in Old Town, Alexandria, who has been servicing dealers, collectors and museums for over 15 years. Their framing involves protecting the items we display for generations to enjoy. Rag matting, museum backing and UV filtering glazing are essential for the preservation of such fragile and historical artwork and are used in all of our framed items.
