The teams first win was against Romeoville 23-1 behind a terrific pitching effort from David Whinery who did not pitch often during the regular season. Strong hitting by the team including DJ Laux, Cam Liljestrand and Kevin Bonyko led the way. Burr Ridge/Willowbrook 13-1 was the next win with another strong pitching performance this time from Tyler Irwin. In both games we got terrific defense from Phil Pielet in center field and Matt Mullner behind the plate.
