George Kolb founded Hines Park Lincoln Mercury in 1970. Located on Forest Avenue in Downtown Plymouth, it was then known as Hines Park Mercury Inc. In 1973, Hines Park acquired the Lincoln franchise and moved to its current location on Ann Arbor Rd. just East of Haggerty. Shortly after relocating, the I-275 Highway became a reality and the small town dealership would never be the same again.
